Context

Given the price-sensitive and competitive nature of the telecommunications market in India, our customer was seeking to lower production costs of their product.

Challenge

The final cost for one of their products was high, owing to higher input costs in packaging. Additionally, proprietary packaging materials were also used making it a complicated, costly and cumbersome process.

Objective

To reduce packaging costs, optimise and simplify packaging process in terms of space and material usage and improve the overall bottom-line.

The SUPERPACKS Solution

We designed composite buffers to eliminate packaging machines, as well as replaced the proprietary packaging material with XL-PE Foam and Expanded PE Foam to facilitate appropriate protection. This resulted in saving space and cost on proprietary product stock holding.
